Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Millesimato Brut

Variety
100% Glera. Indigenous grape variety grown on the foothills around Conegliano and Valdobbiadene since the early 1800s.

Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG.
In 1969, Conegliano – Valdobbiadene was recognized as the only production area for Prosecco DOC. In 2009, its denomination was upgraded to DOCG. This wine is a selection of the best Prosecco DOCG grapes, harvest is made by hand, checking the quality and salubrity of each bunch.
Since 2019, the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Hills have been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Food pairing
The finest expression of Prosecco.
“White winemaking”: the must ferments without skin contact and then is placed in autoclaves with selected yeasts for 150 days at 15-18 °C; this long permanence intensifies the wine bouquet. After that, it is cooled down to -4°C 8/10 days long to stabilize and is finally filtered and bottled.

Tasting notes
Light straw yellow with fine, persistent perlage. Fresh fragrance and elegantly fruity taste reminiscent of green apple and white peach.

Food pairing
Perfect as a refreshing apéritif, ideal with vegetarian and fish hors d’oeuvres, pasta dishes or risotto. Thanks to its lower sugar content, this is a sparkling wine that can pair with every meal.
